Behaviour-Driven Development for Computer-Interpretable Clinical Guidelines

چکیده
In this paper, we propose an approach for speci cation and analysis of Computer-Interpretable Clinical Guidelines (CIGs) that was inspired by Behaviour-Driven Development. The expected behaviour of a CIG is speci ed by requirements in natural language. On the one hand, those requirements are used as design input for guideline development. On the other hand, they can be checked against time-oriented data recorded during testing sessions of the implemented CIG.

Diaflux: A Graphical Language for Computer-Interpretable Guidelines
In this paper, we introduce the formal representation language DiaFlux, that is simple and easy to use on the one hand. On the other hand, it allows for the definition of Computer-Interpretable Guidelines (CIGs), that can solve valuable tasks being executed in the clinical context. Further, we describe a wiki-driven development process using the stepwise formalization, and allowing for almost s...
متن کاملToward an adaptive computer-interpretable clinical guideline for personalization of treatments
Computer-Interpretable Clinical Guidelines (CIGs) are Clinical Guidelines expressed with computer-interpretable languages. This paper presents the iCareflow framework, which proposes to constraint CIGs with external data in order to personalize medical treatment plans.

متن کاملRepresentation primitives, process models and patient data in computer-interpretable clinical practice guidelines: : A literature review of guideline representation models
Representation of clinical practice guidelines in a computer-interpretable format is a critical issue for guideline development, implementation, and evaluation. We studied 11 types of guideline representation models that can be used to encode guidelines in computer-interpretable formats. We have consistently found in all reviewed models that primitives for representation of actions and decision...
